10 Things I hate about life.....

10.... When you learn to except things for the way they are, They change

9..... Being woke up when you are taking a Nap ( it's not a pretty sight)

8..... When people with little importance act as if they created the world

7..... The fact that someone came up with Fairy Tales and ruined ever girls life who is waiting for her Fairy Tale to come true

6.... They say you learn from your mistakes, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you don't make them twice

5.... When you were a child and people asked you what you wanted to be when you grow up, did you ever say I was to work at a call center and support software...(I think not)

4.... The State of humanity, as Black-eyed Peas would say " Where is the love"

3.... Money buys everything and the little guy always suffers, we teach how to steal and then we punish them.

2.... That today's children look up to role models that don't have any respect for themselves, we try to teach our children that beauty is within but face it that's not how the world works.

Drum Roll please.....

1..... The thing I hate most is..... How fragile life truly is, you go though life thinking that you are invincible but really with a crack on a head or slip on the ice, a lump in your breast and bang you life is changed forever.

Well how you all enjoy your weekend
BTW.... Happy Valentines Day

The Day The Music Died....

I was getting ready for work this morning and realize that my poor guitar is sitting in the corner of my room collecting dust. I remember there was a time when I wouldn't put it down now I can barely pick it up. I don't really remember why I stopped playing, I think... That I was trying to hurt someone that wouldn't even know that I wasn't playing and well the lack of guidance I was getting from my former instructor.
Last weekend I was out at the Main Event talking to a friend that was in the band and is also a guitar teacher and he was asking me if I was playing. When I told him that I haven't picked up my guitar in a year he looked at me in disbelief like I was crazy or something and suggested to me that I should drop by and see him sometime, try to get back into the groove of things.
Now if you wonder why kind of music I play, well that's the funny part. My father is a big classic country fan so... I will say I know a UN-GODLY amount of Conway Twitty, Merle Harrarged, Jonny Cash and so on. My old guitar teacher used to call me his country bumpkin! I do play modern music but seeing that I sold my electric guitar and just have my acoustic I have limited myself to a certain selection of songs. Not saying you can't play with the acoustic but some songs just sound better with the electric.
Well that's the end of my music rant... I think I might just take up that offer of a lesson the one thing I did want to do with my guitar is share it with my kids and someday give it to my own child... Seeing that will not happen anytime soon but I have two nieces that might like to learn how to play when they get older.
